Description
If you've seen my gallery, you know it's stocked with a ton of game portraits. Well, this one was the first.I hadn't used Photoshop for illustration before--heck, I hadn't used anything for illustration for quite some time. There's a little bit more backstory, but I'll just sum it up by saying this one is a favorite of mine.
Pencil drawing, painted using Photoshop.

I think I see what Artoonator means about the eyes looking 'crooked' though. It's not the eyes themselves but I think the bright white dot on the hightlight on the inside corner of her left eye that makes it seem that they are a bit askew. Beautiful job, though. Everything just flows so well in this piece.

I soooo love your style..that you leave the pencil strokes on the coloring gives it such an individual special touch. And I think the way you did the hair (bet it messy or not) really fits this image..as a matter of fact I think it's a really making this a nice composition

in fact, the features don't look crooked to me at all
my only complaint is that the chin seems a bit too small in proportion, the background and the subject don't blend (the symbol above or in back seems too polished in contrast to the subject having a more roughly drawn look) , and that the i'd prefer the subject closer towards the middle... or the bottom extended to show more of her...

Personally, I think the nose is sexy. Must be a fetish of mine I guess... and those eyes... rroowrr!!!
